This 125mm twin wall cowl is made using the finest materials and it is manufactured by a reputable company, MI-Flues. The 125mm silver anti-wind cowl is designed to be used with a twin wall flue system and it can also be used with oil or solid fuel applications. This terminal is fitted on the top of the flue system and it protects the insulation of the chimney. The protective shroud prevents water from coming down the flue and it also prevents the wind from affecting the flue.
This item also comes with a free locking band.
Application
The MI-Flues silver anti-wind cowl can be used on gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances. For example, this 125mm terminal can be installed on woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, and oil boilers. These chimney parts should be installed on the top of the twin wall flue system.
Construction
The outer skin of the 125mm silver cowl is made from 304-grade stainless steel and is 0.4mm thick. The skin is then powder coated with a high temperature black finish. The inner skin is made from 316-grade stainless steel and it is also 0.4mm thick. The insulation is compressed rockwool which gives it a density of 128kg per cubic metre. All of the parts are fully welded.

Installation
The twin wall chimney parts are secured together by using a locking band. Make sure that you keep a distance of 60mm from the outside of the flue to any combustible material (wood or plaster board).
