Our 125mm IL gas piping is an air-insulated gas vent system that is suitable for use with atmospheric gas appliances with zero or negative pressures in the flue. These are for gas appliances with draught hoods or with flue gas temperatures that do not exceed 250°C.

The 125mm gas piping features a 0.3mm inner wall that is constructed from aluminium and the outer wall (also 0.3mm) is fabricated from Zalutite (steel that is coated in zinc and aluminium) with a 6mm air gap between the two casings. This effectively allows the inner wall to freely expand as the temperature changes inside the gas vent.

This insulated twin wall system has a 50mm distance to combustible materials and it is fitted together using a ‘twist-lock’ method. This means that the components can be pushed together and twisted to engage the locking device. Not only does this provide a secure and firm connection, but it also ensures ease of assembly.
